After “a quick round of musical chairs” at Nova 93.7 Perth, there are a few changes in the station’s lineup.

Mark Hales “started in the Music Director’s chair and after the game, ended up in the Programme Director’s chair, where he will now stay,” according to Managing Director Gary Roberts.

Hales was one of the first people employed to launch Nova in Perth and “his contribution to the station has been outstanding.”

Mark Hales replaces Andrew Jeffries, who picked up his chair and left Perth to return to the UK for the challenge of launching another new station there.

Anna Willems ended up sitting in the Nova 93.7 Music Director’s chair. Anna is “one of the best in the game and is currently Program Director at DMG’s HOT 91 FM on the Sunshine Coast.” She was previously the Music Director of Nova 100 Melbourne, Fox FM in Melbourne, 2Day FM in Sydney, MMM Brisbane and SAFM Adelaide.

Willems will be joining NOVA 93.7 as Music Director / Assistant Program Director on February 16, 2004.

Tanya Simpson has been appointed Promotions & Marketing Director at the station.
