My friends aren’t the sort you ask R U OK: Kyle Sandilands

This week on the Ben Rob and Robbo show, Kyle Sandilands crashed a regular spot with his manager Bruno Bouchet and stayed for the whole show.

He was asked RU OK, after the 60 Minutes interview and the subsequent discussions of his feelings.

“No one usually comes up and asks me RU OK. But I’ve never asked anyone either.

“My friends aren’t the sort you ask, hey how are you? I know the police raided your house three times this month, but are you feeling ok inside? Maybe I should.”

“Since that tv show came out I was dreading seeing my mates, I was thinking they would rib me, but they were super nice. They put their arm around me and said, we didn’t know…

Talking about those tears he shed in the 60 Minutes interview he said: “I think it is supressed trauma over the years that comes out sometimes when I’ve had a shit day.

“I thought people didn’t like me because I was loud and a bit of a bulldozer… I’ve learnt a few lessons over the years, in my earlier career I bulldozed..  but it made me millions of dollars.”

He went on to talk about moments in his career he regretted, and those that he didn’t.
