ARN have officially opened their brand new radio studio complex in Darwin, servicing the local stations HOT100FM and Mix 104.9FM.
The state-of-the-art studio complex has taken two years to complete and has the latest in radio broadcast technology with 3 full sized studios, as well as a news studio and production studio.
The new studios were officially opened with a ceremony officiated by the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory Lia Finocchiaro, and attended by the Federal MP Luke Gosling OAM, as well as past and present announcers from both stations.
Of the new complex, Hot100 and Mix104.9 General Manager Mike Harvey (main picture with Luke Gosling right) said:
“More than ever local media services are play an increasingly important role in providing the community with media that can be trusted, and investments of this nature are required to ensure the long-term sustainability of these services. Here at Mix 104.9FM and HOT100FM, we are very proud of these new facilities, and we look forward to continuing to bring the latest in news and entertainment to our listeners in Darwin.”
