The ABA has invited applications for a new community radio broadcasting licence for the Port Hedland area of Western Australia. This licence was made available for re-allocation after the previous licence-holder failed to commence provision of a community radio service for this area.

Applicants should contact the ABA’s Licensing Section on 1800 226 667 or (02) 9334 7700 for applications, which are due Tuesday 1 October 2002.
