Bill Caralis has bought 2HD and NEW FM in Newcastle from the Labor Council. Industry sources put the purchase price at $11.3 million. This will add to the Caralis network’s extensive rural NSW/QLD radio operations in Tweed Heads, Gympie, Toowoomba, Lismore, Taree, Armidale, Tamworth, Inverell, Moree, Dubbo, Mudgee and Parkes.
