News Talk 1116 4BC had some good wins at the ACRAs. Program Director Greg Cary was awarded the Best Program Director Award and 4BC’s Sales Team has been awarded, for the third consecutive year, the award for Best Sales Team in Australian radio.

Cary accepted the award and acknowledged that it was due to the efforts of his Team at News Talk 1116 4BC. What made this award even more noteworthy is that Greg is one of the few News Talk Program Directors in the country who also presents a shift as well.

4BC’s General Manager David McDonald, who was also at the awards, says the award given to Carey is “thoroughly deserved as he puts in an enormous amount of hours and dedication” towards the overall success of News Talk 1116 4BC.

The station’s Sales Director Philip Reid accepted the award on behalf of his Sales Team at the Awards.

David McDonald says: “This is nothing short of an outstanding achievement to be recognised for the third consecutive year… the success is most deserved. This is one of the best Sales Teams I have ever been associated with in his 20 plus year of being in the industry.”
