Newstalk ZB continues to lead the Total New Zealand GfK Survey, up 0.3 for 12.6 overall.
MediaWorks Breeze also make a small gain of 0.1 to retain second place on 9.6, but sharing this position with Magic Music & Talk, who are up 0.3.
The MediaWorks Combo which includes Breeze, Edge, George FM, Magic Music & Talk (includes Radio Dunedin), Magic Music, Magic Talk, Mai, More FM (includes More FM Rodney), Rock and The Sound, has a 54.7 share of the overall NZ market.
NZME and Partners which includes Coast, Flava, Gold, Gold AM, Hokonui, Newstalk ZB, Radio Hauraki, The Hits, ZM, BBC (Auckland), Chinese Radio AM936 (Auckland), FM99.4 Chinese Voice (Auckland), Humm FM (Auckland), 95bFM (Auckland)and Pulzar FM (Christchurch), have 35.9%.
In breakfast Mike Hosking (Newstalk ZB) consolidated his lead, adding 1.2 for 18.0, while Duncan Garner, Mark Richardson & Amanda Gillies on The AM Show on Magic Talk and Mark Leishman and Geoff Bryan on Magic Music were up 1.0 to 8.6, leapfrogging Robert Rakete & Jeanette Thomas (Breeze) who also made a small gain, up by 0.2 to 8.2.

Our friends across the ditch do things a little differently. As the GfK report says in the fine print, "share" is based on commercial stations only. It would be like removing Triple J, Local Radio, Classic, News Radio and RN from the results which would inflate the results of all commercial stations.
