Nick Young has been appointed to the role of Chief Commercial Officer for NOVA Entertainment and will report to CEO Peter Charlton.
His start date will be announced shortly.
Nick will bring a breadth of commercial experience across multiple media sectors, with a deep focus on digital and data, and will be responsible for the development and execution of NOVA Entertainment’s commercial strategy.
He will work closely with NOVA’s senior commercial leaders, taking responsibility for creating commercial opportunities for clients and brands and capitalising on the strength of NOVA’s digital audio and broadcast platforms, and will lead NOVA’s industry leading commercial function, including agency and direct sales, digital commercial teams and inventory management.
He is currently Director of Sales – Digital and Publishing for the Nine Entertainment and has been responsible for the commercialisation and data strategy for Nine’s Digital and publishing platforms since June 2019.
Having held several senior commercial roles within digital, audio, television and agency businesses, Nick spent two years at Ninemsn as Group Sales Manager and eight years with the Multi Channel Network (MCN) in a variety of roles including National Digital Sales Director, National Sales Director – TV and Chief Sales Officer.
