Nine Podcast Network audience and offerings continue to grow

In June 2023 the Nine Podcast Network posted its largest ever monthly audience with more than 1.8 million listeners, increasing the previous record by 160K.

Nine Radio’s catch-up podcasts had over 820,000 listeners in June 2023, a 35% increase on the same period last year. 2GB’s Ben Fordham Live podcast was up 21 places to #23 on June’s Australian Podcast ranker, with over 200,000 monthly listeners. He was also No 1 in Breakfast in July’s GfK Radio 360 Survey 4. 3AW’s Drive with Tom Elliott podcast also continues to steadily grow, with over 75,000 listeners, up 68% from last year.

Nine’s investigative podcast Hannah’s Story also was up 37 spots to #20 in the June podcast ranker.

New podcast offerings from the network include:

NRLW Weekly – hosted by dual international Ruan Sims and Marlee Silva, NRLW Weekly brings fans the latest updates, insights, and exclusive interviews from the National Rugby League Women’s competition.

I Just Can’t Sarah-Jane Calleja and Rachel Carr from last year’s series of The Block discuss the rollercoaster of life – marriage, motherhood, melodramatic TV, nothing is off limits.

The Reporter – WAtoday journalist, morning presenter on 6PR’s and four-time Western Australian Journalist of the Year, Gary Adshead has tackled a vast array of Western Australia’s most notorious stories, from murder investigations and national espionage to heroic rescues and missing person cases. Gary takes listeners behind the headlines, offering a glimpse into the life of a reporter.
