Who thinks up this stuff? This Thursday will see the world’s longest slip’n’slide built in Brisbane in an attempt to set a world record. And if they do, then what? Well, they’ll have the world record won’t they.

Nova 106.9FM’s Ash, Kip & Luttsy are behind the plan to create the longest backyard slip’n’slide on Brisbane’s Victoria Point Golf Course.

The backyard slip’n’slide will be the length of three football fields.

Several invited listeners will hurtle down the monster slide clocking their speed at various points on the way.

Nova 106.9FM’s Program Director, Jay Walkerden, believes the stunt is bigger and crazier than anything the station has done before, “Building a backyard slip’n’slide of this size and scale both excites and terrifies me,” he said.
