Nova champions a fair go for Sydney’s West

Nova 96.9 has joined the Daily Telegraph and NewsLocal’s ‘Fair Go for the West’ campaign, launched this morning.
 
The 57-day campaign will aim to highlight the disparity in the distribution of economic resources across infrastructure, health, emergency services, roads and jobs across Sydney.

As the official broadcast media partner for the campaign Nova 96.9 will provide a broad range of support including: 

  • Significant airtime contribution to Small Businesses in the West
  • Talent Visits to schools in the West
  • Support and sponsorship of sports programs and teams in the West
  • Additional station activity in the West
  • Intern program for students from the West in partnership with Seven and News Ltd
  • Station visits by schools in the West

The campaign has strong backing from community and corporate sponsors including NAB, NRMA, University of Western Sydney, Crown Resorts and Harvey Norman. Channel 7 will join Nova 96.9 as the TV media partner.  
 
Nova’s Kate Ritchie will be one of several born-and-bred Western Sydney ambassadors, joining Test cricket captain Michael Clarke, Penrith Panther Jamal Idris, Western Sydney Wanderer Mark Bridge, Channel 7 newsreader Chris Bath
