Nova dives into the world of small business with new podcast

‘Wish Someone Told Me’.

NOVA Entertainment (with partner Bankwest) has launched new podcast Wish Someone Told Me, hosted by Nat Locke from Nova 93.7’s Perth breakfast show.

In the five-part series, Locke chats to small business owners about the ups and downs of running a business, what they’ve learned along the way and the things they wish they’d been told when they started out.

Wish Someone Told Me also covers issues that affect small business owners including business planning for growth, how to manage cashflow effectively, social media marketing, tips for tax time and managing staff.

Episode one – ‘Bedtonic’ – features small business owner Julie and her online French linen and loungewear store; episode two covers personal trainers Adam and Jackson and their Perth fitness studio, Boom Fitness; while episode four follows Lea and food wholesale business, Mister Nosh.

Locke said, “After owning and running a small business of my own for 21 years, it was wonderful to get an insight from other small business owners about their experiences dealing with the highs and lows of running a business.”
