NOVA Entertainment appoints Irene Hulme

Just days after being made redundant from SCA, Irene Hulme returns to NOVA Entertainment as Music Director for the Nova Network beginning January 6th.

With extensive music and programming experience across the three major Australian radio networks, Hulme has held senior roles at the Hit, Triple M, 2Day FM, KIIS and Nova Networks, in multiple markets.
Having spent the last five years with SCA, most recently she held the position of National Head of Music.
Paul Jackson, NOVA Entertainment’s Chief Programming & Marketing Officer says, “We’re delighted to welcome Irene back to Nova. Her vast experience, musical knowledge and programming skills are renowned in the industry. Along with Scott, we have two of the most respected music programmers in the country working for Nova.”
Irene said, “What an absolute honour it is to once again work for NOVA Entertainment. Paul Jackson is an exceptional leader, and a bold programmer, who I have respected for many years. He has put together a dedicated, knowledgeable and passionate content team, who like me share a relentless desire to create incredible moments executed with energy, creativity and mutual respect. If home is where the heart is, I’m certainly home in 2020.”
Hulme will work alongside Scott Baker-Smith, the Nova Network’s Head of Music, to oversee the Nova Network’s national music function.
