This Saturday Nova 96.9 comedian Akmal Saleh will join Australia’s million dollar man – winner of the first PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Grant Levy – to host the final table of the PokerStars.net and Nova “30 Grand Hand” promotion.
With high stakes, anticipation and entertainment, the afternoon will be a combination of raises, flops and poker faces at the exclusive Astral Bar in Star City.
From a strong starting field of almost 300 players, just nine remain and will battle it out in Astral Bar at Star City Casino where one person will win the $30,000 prize money.

The Nova Top 10 with Jabba & Mel night show is giving away the chance for one school to rock for a day, in the “Kisschasy – Jam It Up Your Class” competition.
Students just need to visit www.nova969.com.au to register the name of their school to be in the running for Kisschasy to rock it out in front of them and all their friends.
The Nova Top 10 with Jabba & Mel recently had Kisschasy’s Daren and Carl live in the studio to launch the competition. Lead singer Daren said he’s pumped about playing in front of a school full of screaming kids.
There have been over 1000 online entries already and the phone and email is running hot with enquires which proves Kisschasy is just too cool for school!
Every night, Jabba and Mel will chat to the leading schools giving them the chance to promote why they should win “Kisschasy – Jam It Up Your Class”.
They’ll announce the winner on Friday, May 23 with Kisschasy playing at the winning school on Monday, May 26.
