After receiving controversial press for playing the new Prodigy song “atb,” Nova 100 Melbourne has just completed a week long poll on the station’s website asking listeners about the song.

The results were strongly in favour of the station continuing to play it. In the survey 63.7% of respondents said ‘yes’ the song should be played. 14% said ‘no’ and 22.2% voted for the ‘don’t give a rat’s arse’ option. Slightly more males than females approved of playing the song. PD Dan Bradley told AMT: “It was a great example of what the Nova brand does well, taking a song that nobody else will play given it’s controversy, and taking it to the listeners, it was important to do.”
