Fresh from its success of topping the Sydney ratings for the first time, Nova 96.9 FM has made two key appointments.

Shandra Moran has been promoted to Assistant Promotions & Program Director. She will focus on the Merrick and Rosso breakfast show, survey promotions and marketing, and work closely with Nova Program Director, Scott Muller.

Shandra has moved out of the role of Promotions & Marketing Director, which has been filled by the newly appointed Lisa Lees. Lisa has a long history in radio promotions, especially in promotions, and has had stints in Perth, Brisbane and Kuala Lumpur.

Shandra Moran has told radioinfo that the Nova team is taking nothing for granted, despite the survey win: “Obviously, we’re very pleased with the result, but there’s so much churn in the Sydney radio market. Looking ahead to survey two, we’re not sure what lies ahead, but we’ll be doing everything to consolidate our position.”
