Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa launch online store for Barry the Parody Bear

NOVA Entertainment has launched a special parody bear created to raise funds and awareness for the Little Wings charity.

Fitzy & Wippa have designed a teddy bear, Barry the Parody Bear that performs five of the duo’s most popular  parodies

The bear is available to purchase from http://www.novafm.com.au/barry  and also via pop up stores at Blacktown Westpoint and Pitt St Mall with Fitzy & Wippa. All profits will go directly to Little Wings.

Little Wings is a not for profit organisation supporting children with life threatening illnesses by providing a free ongoing flight service to children and their families living in regional and

rural New South Wales. They are transported to and from specialised treatment at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, The Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick and The John Hunter Children’s Hospital in Newcastle.

Fitzy & Wippa became passionate about the work of Little Wings after meeting Kevin Robinson, a pilot and the man behind the charity. The boys wanted to do something to raise money and awareness for this incredible service so enlisted their listeners to help out.

Over the past three weeks Fitzy & Wippa developed the concept with their listeners playing an integral part in the process. They decided to create a teddy bear, with the unique feature of being able to sing and move.

The first Barry was auctioned off live on air this morning for $2,000.
