Philip Brady was farewelled on Thursday February 27, 2025 with the veteran entertainer curating much of his own send off. There was a full house, as Philip would have wanted it, the women wore hats and many others the Philip Brady badges as per his request and even 3AW General Manager Stephen Beers brought along a final couple of live reads, which made the audience in Sacred Heart Church Kew, and online, laugh.

Radio friends including Greg Evans, Derryn Hinch, Daryl Somers and 3AW colleagues past and present were all in attendance with Nine News putting together the below tribute.
