In yet another demonstration of the power (excuse the pun) of local radio and the generosity of it’s audience, The Buzz with Chris and Carly on POWER FM Nowra has helped raise over $15,000 for a special project at Shoalhaven District Hospital.
 
Chris and Carly were contacted on Monday by one of the nurses at the hospital and told that she and her colleagues were attempting to raise $10,000 to build a garden at the hospital for Intensive Care patients.
 
Following the interview on air, Chris and Carly were contacted by some local business people wishing to donate. The hospital had looked after their family members in the past and they wanted to give something back.
 
The on air push continued. Fast forward a couple of days and the appeal total stands at $15,000 – so plans for the garden can proceed.
