Power FM SA has a new look line up

With afternoon announcer Chris Dzelde defecting to the AM band, the time has come for the baton to be passed to a new look PowerFm line up.

Moving into the drive spot from Monday (August 13) is former 90’s at noon host Craig Pitman, who will be hosting ‘The Pick Me Up’ from 2pm to 6pm weekdays. Craig says the opportunity to spend time with the audience as they head home from school or work each day is an exciting one.

“Our listeners have been so kind and welcoming as I’ve moved from weekends and fill-ins, to the “90’s at Noon”. Now I can’t wait to uncover cheeky stories and make silly moments come to life every afternoon. Plus, it’s a nice shift after 10 months of playing ONLY 90’s music,” said Craig.

Station Program Director Mel Dzelde says the passing of the baton couldn’t be happening between two more talented announcers. “With Chris Dzelde moving over to our sister station 5MU, we are delighted to have Craig Pitman take over the afternoons on Power FM. With his enthusiastic, fun-loving style, Craig’s the perfect fit to take us into Fitzy and Wippa at Night.”

The Power FM breakfast show ‘The Power Pack’ will continue 6am to 9am weekdays, with the talented duo of Kristel Dally and Damon Adams making the PowerFM line up three quarters Australian Radio School graduates!

Between Breakfast and Drive, Mel Dee will host ‘The Power Thru’.
