RadComms09 conference agenda released

Communications Minister Stephen Conroy will deliver a keynote address at RadComms09, ACMA’s third annual conference on the management of the radiofrequency spectrum to be held at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney on 29 and 30 April.

ACMA Chairman Chris Chapman will also deliver an important opening address at the conference about the continuing role of the Authority in spectrum management.

Some of the presentations on radiofrequency spectrum issues from industry and government representatives at the two-day event will include ‘3.6 GHz ISP Perspective’, ‘Fixed-Service Issues’, ‘TV-New Technologies’ and ‘400 MHz: ACMA Update on Process and Progress’.

There will be significant time devoted to Q&A panel sessions to promote extended discussion on current and new initiatives and the conference will enable participation by a wide range of industry stakeholders.
