Radio covers NRL Grand Final

Last week, the Hawks and Freo battled it out for the AFL Grand Final and this week it’s the Roosters and Sea Eagles turn in the NRL.

On this Sunday at 7.15pm at ANZ stadium the 2013 NRL Grand Final kicks off and for those unable to view the game on television, plenty of radio networks will be covering the most important game of the season.

Below is a list of the radio networks covering the game:

  • The major stations of the Macquarie Radio Network, such as 2GB in Sydney will be covering the game with ‘The Continuous Call Team’, a panel of Rugby League and other sporting experts and commentators.
  • The Triple M network (available in major capital cities Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and now Perth) will be broadcasting the game as the official FM caller of the Rugby League.
  • ABC’s Grandstand will also be covering the game and will air its coverage on the ABC’s netowrk of local and regional stations.
