Radio Mirchi Delhi celebrates 4th birthday

Radio Mirchi in Delhi is celebrating four years on air this month. The Delhi station, at FM98.3, was launched on April 29 2003.

Birthday celebrations include movie tickets for listeners and announcer events. The studio will also broadcast from a special OB studio, built in the air, at a height of about 29 feet at Ansal Plaza.

Radio Mirchi now operates in 12 cities around India as the company expands its frequencies under the new licencing regime. Murchi stations are currently on air in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Indore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, with Patna and Jalandhar just recently launched. The network plans to eventually have 32 radio stations around the country.
