Radio Rat: Frank Vincent reflects on the Mulray days

Frank Vincent, aka the Black Rat, the Inflatable Sports Reporter or Uncle Frank, has released his memoir Radio Rat, a tribute to the heady days working with Doug Mulray at Triple M, later being 2Day FM‘s ‘everywhere man’, rubbing shoulders with the greatest of sporting and entertainment stars, and keeping his ebullience intact after a stroke in 2020.

In light of Doug Mulray, the once in a lifetime, game changer radio announcer, never releasing his own memoir, Frank takes you behind the scenes at Triple M in the Mulray days, and 2Day FM, where he later worked alongside Wendy Harmer, Peter Moon and Paul Holmes.

Vincent said:

“That magical era with Doug Mulray was such a special time, full of great characters. I just wanted to put it into a book that you just can’t put down. This is the best autobiography since, Teletubbies Confessions.”
Radio Rat is available from New Holland Publishers now.
