Radio station acquisitions available

Logan Corporation has announced the divestment of “two outstanding opportunities in Australian Broadcasting.” They are:

“Radio station in Western Australia

This existing broadcasting radio station has outstanding revenue potential. This radio station is a virtual monopoly in the region, is situated in the fastest growing region in the state with current unrealised growth potential.

This station would be an exciting synergistic fit for any broadcaster.

Expression of interest closes: 25 September 2002.

Unique In-Store National Radio Network

This is a unique digital in store national radio network currently broadcasting to 250 plus (and growing) stores throughout Australia, with a potential 1.7 million plus captive audience per week.

Logan Corporation believes this opportunity is an extremely valuable fit for an existing broadcasting organisation, in view of the synergies to be gained from an existing operation and an additional revenue potential.

Expression of interest closes: 30 September 2002.”

A Non Disclosure Agreement is required.

Logan Corporation’s Graeme Logan told radioinfo: “I am excited by these two outstanding opportunities in Australian Broadcasting. Business opportunities like these don’t come along every day… There is an enormous amount of interest in broadcast and media acquisitions in Australia at present.”
