The instantly recognisable gem that is ‘Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)’ has debuted at No. 24 on the latest AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart. The track solidifies Dua Lipa’s continued dominance, and sees a triumphant return to the airplay charts for Elton John.
No format was a boundary for ‘Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)’ this week, which saw spins on CHR, Hot AC, AC, and even talk radio. KIIS wasted no time by adding 76 spins (23.7%) across both Sydney and Melbourne. Dua Lipa now has four entries in the Top 40, the most of any artist (‘Love Again’ No. 18, ‘Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)’ No. 24, ‘We’re Good’ No. 28, ‘Levitating’ No. 37).
While Justin Wellington’s ‘Iko Iko (My Bestie)’ feat. Small Jam has forged its legendary status on TikTok, the song’s presence on Aussie radio is also growing. The latest version (with Digital Farm Animals) is peaking at No. 22, up 22 frames on its sixth charting week. Nova accounted for 51.2% of total spins this week.
Off the back of last week’s lofty debut, The Weeknd is setting his sights set on the top with ‘Take My Breath’ catapulting 13 frames to No. 11. Speaking of the summit, the No. 1 spot remains hotly contested between Jolyon Petch’s ‘Dreams’ and Ed Sheeran’s ‘Bad Habits’. ‘Dreams’ is ahead by just 24 spins, despite ‘Bad Habits’ leading in three of the five major metro markets (Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth).
