Positioned strategically between Malaysia’s Hungry Ghost Festival (pictured) and the country’s Merdeka national day next week, Radiodays Asia will take place in a city full of activity and festivities.

The event will begin at 10am on Tuesday in the Istana Hotel’s conference venue in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Highlights of the opening session include Ralph van Dijk on audio branding, CEOs Joan Warner (CRA Australia) and Abe Thomas (Big FM India), plus a special report on the effect of fake news on the recent Indian election.

Hosts Ezra Zaid and Lee Chwi Lynn from news talk station Bfm will MC the two day program (see the schedule here).

Highlights also include Mike Kasem from Gold FM Singapore, singer and radio presenter Hunny, SCA’s Matt Dickson, Virgin Radio’s Mike Cass, Radio futurist James Cridland and many more Asian and international speakers.

It’s not too late to register.

If you are already in KL for  the event, don’t forget to look out for organisers Anders Held and Steve Ahern and the team and make sure to say hello.
