radioinfo relaunches Asia Radio Today site

After acquiring Asia Radio Today earlier this year, radioinfo has now relaunched the site with more features.

If you want to reach Asian Radio professionals with advertising, news, job ads or other information, contact us and we will help you get your message across.

Past Asia Radio Today reports

You can find all the site’s past stories in the news page and scroll back page by page to look at old stories. Or use the search box (top right) to search for specific words, or the tags at the bottom of each story to see related stories. Please note that not all older stories are tagged.

Reports by country

Readers can find reports for their specific country now, by searching on the country drop down menu or via the map. Please note that not all older stories are mapped, but from now on our stories will be given a location.

Technology Intelligence Section

We have introduced a new section for technology which will include tips and advice from our experts, technology reviews, and product introductions. There are already a few expert articles and products in that section and more will be added. Advertisers can sponsor specialist reports.

Job Ads

To find employment in Asia, check the new Jobs section.

If you are an employer… good news! We are offering job ads FREE for the next three months.

Email [email protected] to take us up on that offer.

Career Movements

The Coming and Going section is where Asian broadcasters can tell the world about your promotion, next job, or some significant event in your career. Email [email protected] with brief details and a photo and we will add it to this section.

Talent Bank

As on radioinfo, Faces for Radio is the section where you can showcase yourself. If you want to use it to put up your online resume and demo, you can, or you may just want to make yourself visible to friends and colleagues. This section is useful for both. You can control what you put on this page yourself, no need to send it via us, just create an account and put all the details in yourself.

The site is free and open for everyone, but if you want to load information about yourself, or comment, then you must create an account for security purposes. Creating an account is easy and free. Click on the Register link, then load details about yourself, your contact email and create a password, then it’s done. Memorise your details for your return visits or use the Sign In link at the top right to log back in each time you visit.

Show Prep, Sales Tips, the Future of Radio and more

There are plenty of tips and advice columns on the new site.

Click here and use the menu list in the top menu bar to access a world of knowledge and show prep. Click here to view the events calendar.

Airplay Charts

At the moment you can see the Australian AirPlay chart, sourced from AirCheck. Coming soon will be charts for Asia.

We are delighted to continue the good work begun by Nik Martin and John Ross, and hope that the expansion of this site will benefit readers personally, and will also support the Asian Radio Industry, in the same way as radioinfo.com.au has done for the Australian radio industry over more than a decade.

Our Asian editor is Mayank Jain. He can be contacted here.
