Rage offers sincere apology they did not pick-up AC/DC error

The team working for ABC TV show rage have taken the extraordinary measure of issuing an apology after someone did not pick-up (ahem) a heinous error when sharing a post celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release of AC/DC‘s It’s a Long Way to the Top.

The comments in response to the post were damning (and funny):

In the lengthy apology (below) rage executives admitted to their embarrassment of using the words pick-up truck, but chose to keep the post and video up. An additional apology was added to Molly Meldrum, Paul Drane and AC/DC – although perhaps they should also have included all ute drivers too.

They’ve asked that no one mention the incident to Media Watch. That Linton Besser is across everything, and probably drives a ute.
