Rebecca Morse and Andrew Costello join Adelaide’s hit107 for Breakfast

Mornings in Adelaide are changing in 2019, with Bec and Cosi set to wake up Adelaide each weekday morning from 6am – 9am on hit107.

Rebecca ‘Bec’ Morse worked with SAFM in 2012 and has presented TEN Eyewitness News for over a decade and says, “as for working both ends of the day, there will be coffee and there will be chaos.”

Bec grew up in Adelaide and is now raising a young family of her own. She is excited at the prospect of breakkast radio on hit107 next year: “I started my media career in radio and loved my stint at the station several years ago, so it will be like coming home. Cosi and I have a lot in common; we are both passionate and proud South Australians and laugh at our own jokes.”

Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello is currently in his sixth season of hosting SA’s only travel show South Aussie with Cosi on Channel 9.

He is also the founder of national charity Cows for Cambodia, raising funds for poor Cambodian families and is no stranger to radio, having earned his reputation on SAFM and Triple M.

Cosi said: “I left the pig farm to join SAFM 18 years ago, and I fell in love with radio and its audience. This radio station runs through my blood and the opportunity to return to hit107 is like a dream come true.”

When asked about his co-host, Cosi says: “Bec Morse is a gun. She’s funny, likeable and a great mum. The hit107 role will allow SA to get to know the cheeky, fun side of one of our best newsreaders.”

Bec and Cosi will be joined by Hayden ‘Haydo’ Naughton who will jump ship from Triple M Adelaide to anchor the show.

Hit Network’s Head of Content Gemma Fordham says the chemistry between the pair is infectious: “Together, they bring many years of experience and are truly passionate about Adelaide and Adelaideans… it’s a show people will love listening to – it’s fun, cheeky, relatable and really puts a smile on your face.”
