Record breaking total raised for Tasmania’s sick children

Heart 107.3 has raised $488,878.92 during their Give Me 5 for Kids fundraising initiative in 2015, unveiling the total this morning.

With a national record set in 2014, the bar was set incredibly high when Heart 107.3 Breakfast announcers Dave Noonan and Kylie Baxter took up the challenge again this year.

With key fundraising events including a scenic flight of Tasmania and another ‘House with Heart’ charity home, we were stunned with the amount of community support, both from individuals and businesses.

The funds raised in this year’s efforts will go towards the purchasing of much needed paediatric equipment and services to benefit Tasmania’s sick children including the makeover of the Emergency Department Paediatric waiting room.

Heart 107.3 Breakfast Hosts and GM5FKs ambassadors, Dave Noonan and Kylie Baxter said: “The Hobart Community’s generosity is unmatched across the country, just when we think it’s not possible to raise the bar, we do it again!”

“This result is absolutely outstanding and is something that we are incredibly proud to be involved in.”
