Mr Dorney spent 40 years, on and off, reporting from PNG for the ABC and has witnessed some of the Pacific nation’s greatest challenges, from natural disasters to political crisis and the decade-long Bougainville civil war.

For service to the broadcast media, and to the community of the Fraser Coast. Greig ‘Boldy’ Bolderrow spent 33 years at 103.5 Triple M  and Hit 101.9 as GM.

The former ABC Newcastle broadcaster has been posthumously awarded an Order of Australia Medal for service to people living with ovarian cancer.
after she died last December aged of 60 having been diagnosed four years earlier.

For his service to the broadcast media as a radio presenter. Aaron worked in several roles at ABC Newcastle throughout his career, including hosting the Breakfast show between 2007 and 2016. He’s also worked in the ABC’s International Division and is a researcher in Sports Diplomacy.
