Ride for Unity with AFL legend Scotty Cummings

Next month AFL Legend and Sports Day radio presenter Scotty Cummings and Spirit radio breakfast host Pablo Newton Farley will ride 600km for charity.

Leaving August 24th from Port Hedland and riding for 6 days across the Pilbara the team will arrive in Onslow on Saturday 29th

The pair have never ridden this distance before and it’s Pablo’s very first time on a road bike.

Scotty said, “ We did Kokoda a three years ago and this is the next challenge…in Lycra.”

Pablo thought the invitation initially was just an invitation to bring the Spirit Karratha breakfast show on the road for the week. “Suddenly I’m riding it.”

Ride for UNITY is the IF Foundation’s inaugural cycling event that will see a small number of riders embark on a scenic and challenging journey from Port Hedland to Onslow, to raise awareness of the issues concerning youth violence and anti-social behaviour and the services and programming provided by IF Foundation.
