Ridge Radio, Batemans Bay claims it has 80,225 listeners (give or take a few) along the South Coast and the Southern Highlands of NSW according to its own research.

Assistant Manager, Dene Broadbelt told radioinfo, “All our survey stuff is done via the back end of our website and also we use Survey Monkey most of the time for online website survey, but all those stats came from our website backend system called Awstats. which shows how many listeners at what time etc.”

“As well we also stream online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As of Friday March 12th 2010, our listener demographic stands at well over 80,225 within our broadcast area, says Dene.

Ridge Radio plays a mix of current hit music, plus recent gold, and is designed to appeal to an under 40 audience. “The station is very promotionally active with both on air contesting and competitions as well as outside appearances on both the South Coast and the Southern Highlands,” says Dene.

“In the past two months, times have changed at Ridge Radio; we have got an all new on-air line-up – all our staff have had previous experience in the media area. Some hailing from Nova 100 and Nova 96.9 – it’s great to see that positive changes are happening to the station, and our listeners are enjoying the changes.”
