Rihanna has ended her years-long airplay chart drought with new single ‘Lift Me Up’ debuting at No. 25 on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart.
Featured on the soundtrack for the new Marvel film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, ‘Lift Me Up’ racked up 269 first-week spins.
KIIS Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane recorded a combined total of 96 spins for ‘Lift Me Up’, accounting for 35.7% of all spins nationwide. Elsewhere, Nova and the Hit Network also threw their weight behind the new single.
Heating up at No. 21 is Harry Styles’ latest single ‘Music For A Sushi Restaurant’. It’s the third cut from Harry’s House to appear on the chart after ‘As It Was’ and ‘Late Night Talking’ peaked at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. ‘Sushi’ was a mainstay on KIIS and 101.9 The Fox this week.
Sam Smith & Kim Petras’ ‘Unholy’ has reached a new chart peak, rising six spots to No. 9 with a gain of 139 spins (+27.5%). ‘Unholy’ was the third most-played song nationwide across the Evening daypart.
