River 94.9 Queensland’s The Breakfast Club with Marnie and Mike held a UHF radio themed wedding this morning for two of their listeners at The Peak Pub in Peak Crossing, QLD.
 
The ceremony followed a segment on their show where they asked their listeners “If you had to get married where you met, where would that be?”
 
Carolyn Stewart’s answer stood out, saying she met her partner Robert on the Newell Highway via a truck UHF radio.
 
In response, River 94.9 organised their wedding in full, with the bride and groom saying their vows in two vintage trucks via a UHF radio, live on breakfast radio.
