Today plates up national radio show with MasterChef Australia

The Today Network is teaming up with Network Ten’s Masterchef Australia to present a new show called The Dish, hosted by Weekend Breakfast’s Byron Cooke and airing on Sunday nights from 6-7pm.

It will premiere on Sunday 11th May and will last for eight weeks. With the show being Masterchef themed, listeners can expect a preview of the upcoming TV episode, along with cooking tips and interviews with celebrity chefs.

The show will have two weekly segments. Matt Preston will appear in the weekly Preston Picks in which he reveals his favourite dishes and listeners will have the opportunity to win money in the Guess who’s Coming to Dinner feature.

Network Ten Chief Programming Officer, Beverley McGarvey, said: “MasterChef Australia is an iconic, much-loved television series and we are delighted to bring it to radio with The Today Network.”

“This year’s series features Australia’s best home cooks and after less than a week on air, the response from viewers has been phenomenal.”
