Robin Bailey expected to be back on air in Brisbane this year

Speculation is heating up that Robin Bailey will return to air in Brisbane this year.

An announcement is expected imminently.

Bailey left her Triple M breakfast shift in September last year to spend time with her terminally ill second husband Sean Pickwell, who passed away just days later.

Will she return to SCA, or to her old network ARN?

Robin Bailey spent  nine years with Jamie Dunn and Ian Skippen on the B105 Morning Crew, dominating the Brisbane market during the 1990s and early 2000s. She then hosted 973 Breakfast for a decade with Terry Hansen and Bob Gallagher.

Robin’s longevity and consistency across almost two decades on two separate shows has made her one of Brisbane’s most successful FM presenters, much beloved by the audience, who have shared the ups and downs of her life for so long. In 2017, Robin joined Greg Martin and Ed Kavalee for a new breakfast show on Triple M Brisbane.

In 2017 she was interviewed by Craig Bruce on his Game Changers podcast (listen here).

Stay tuned for an announcement within days and expect her hear her voice back on the Brisbane airwaves very soon.
