One of the best known people in Radio, Rod Brice, will be leaving Southern Cross Austereo on December 13.
Rod has been with the Network in it’s various forms for 20 years, beginning with his initial job of putting together the Programming structure for the original RG Capital Radio network.
As the Group Program Director of the biggest regional radio group, Rod has influenced and guided several generations of radio talent, many of whom are now working in major markets.
Rod will be taking a break before jumping in to the next phase of his career in 2014.
I think Rod Brice has done a great job... and derves all the accolades the industry can muster!
Well done Rod...you should be proud of your body of work!
Rod is a special and talented radio guy. His immense influence on Australian radio will be around for generations to come. The only advice I have for him is to enjoy the next phase by working a couple of days a week!
Unfortunately, at the beginning of the transition away from RG Capital, Rod was far too busy to keep a finger on the pulse correctly. I always found Rod a great man to work with. Maybe his new phase will be away from talent. All the best Rod.
