Ryan Shelton and Katie Dimond (aka Monty) have promised not to get too toasted on Friday nights from now on. Because from this weekend, they’ll be hosting a two hour national show each Saturday morning on the Nova network.
Best known as a regular cast member on Rove, Ryan Shelton says he’s looking forward to working with Monty. “We are already really good friends so I’m excited to take our relationship to the next level. And yes, I mean sex”.
Shelton says, “there was this huge misunderstanding and I thought I signed up for ‘rodeo’. So I’m bitterly disappointed about this whole ‘radio’ thing”.
Ryan, who helped Chris Lilley write the ABC series We Can Be Heroe and co-wrote and starred in Real Stories in 2006, will still continue as a regular cast member on Rove in 2008.
Monty is no stranger to radio, having worked as a breakfast co-host in Albury in 2007 and prior to that was a regular guest on Tony Martin’s “Get This” radio program.
