The Sam and Ant show is heading for the Top End, with Samual Mansfield and Anthony Johnston to host Breakfast at ARN’s Hot100 in Darwin. The duo were previously at the Capital Radio Network‘s 93.5 Eagle FM in Goulburn, NSW.
Ant said:
“I’m so excited to start up in Darwin at Hot100 that I feel like a frog on heat. Everyone we’ve met at the station has been so smart, welcoming and fun.”
Sam added:
“I’m so excited to sell all my winter gear and head north. So thankful for the opportunity and can’t wait to get stuck in. I also heard the sea life is really friendly.”
Hot100 Content Director Sarah Passalick said:
“I was hooked as soon as I heard the guys. They sound like good mates willing to give anything a go! The Darwin community is going to love that about them and they are going to have so many opportunities for their content to make a huge impact in this city, and in radio as a whole! Can’t wait to welcome them into the team!”
Sam and Ant’s appointment comes after previous breakfast host Lauren ‘Davo’ Davidson left to join Tim Bolch on Drive at Geelong’s K rock, while Jess Pantou Qazi has headed off on 12 months of maternity leave.
