Sancha Donald joins 2RPH as GM

Following an extensive recruitment process the Board of 2RPH, the community broadcaster to people with disabilities, has appointed Sancha Donald to the role of General Manager of the station.

In announcing the appointment Di Collins, Chair of the 2RPH Board said, “Sancha brings with her a wealth of experience working with volunteers to provide opportunities, products and services to those in the community with disabilities.

“Her recent role with Accessible Arts, as well as with Technical Aid to the disabled, have established Sancha as an experienced and highly professional administrator in the not-for-profit sector.

In accepting her appointment Sancha Donald said: ‘I am delighted to be joining 2RPH at a time of great change within the disability sector, and am looking forward to further developing the service to existing and emerging listeners.”

2RPH is the only community radio station in New South Wales which is dedicated to broadcast to those with a print disability.  2RPH currently broadcasts to Sydney and Newcastle on both the AM (1224) and FM (100.5) frequencies. 2RPH is part of the RPH Australia radio reading network consisting of 18 radio stations and 1500 volunteers who broadcast newspapers, magazines, books and more, live on air, to the many millions who have a print disability. Those with a print disability include people who are blind or vision impaired, people with dyslexia and attention impairment, people with arthritis, muscular dystrophy, cerebal palsy and the many conditions that limit the ability to read
