SBS Radio broadcasters voice Acknowledgement of Country videos

As part of National Reconciliation Week SBS Radio and NITV have teamed up to produce a series of 22 multilingual Acknowledgement of Country videos.

Voiced by diverse SBS Radio broadcasters, together with Elders from Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung traditional owner groups, the acknowledgements are featuring on Federation Square screens in Melbourne and across SBS platforms till Saturday 3 June.

This initiative is part of a wider partnership with tenants of Federation Square to deliver key initiatives for engaging the community during National Reconciliation Week, with exhibitions, discussions, screenings and installations all featuring as part of the week of public programs.

SBS is also reflecting on two major anniversaries in Australia’s reconciliation journey – 50 years since the 1967 referendum and 25 years since the historic Mabo decision.

SBS is marking these milestones through distinctive multiplatform programming across television, radio and online.
