SBS Radio celebrates Lunar New Year

SBS celebrates the auspicious year of the earth dog.

Each year is marked by one of the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac and 2018 is the year of the earth dog; known to be loyal, honest, kind, cautious and prudent.

Keeping up the festive spirit, SBS Radio’s language programs MandarinCantoneseVietnamese and Korean along with SBS PopAsia will hold a competition via the program websites giving audiences a chance to win prizes.

Entrants will need to upload pictures involving a dog; it could either be a picture of their pet dog, dressed up dog, drawing of a dog or anything creative including a dog.

The most creative entry will win a $500 Petbarn or Westfield gift voucher. Competition closes on Monday 5 March, 2018.

Listeners are invited to share Lunar New Year with  SBS Radio broadcasters as they attend events across Sydney and Melbourne.
