SBS radio coverage for the FIFA Womens World Cup

SBS has announced its full match broadcast schedule for the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™.

 
Uniting some of Australia’s best sports broadcasters, SBS will offer audiences unrivalled coverage of the world’s biggest women’s football event from Saturday, 8 June with all 52 matches live and free on SBS Radio in multiple languages and via the SBS Radio mobile app.
 
SBS Radio will broadcast in eight languages including Mandarin, French, Japanese, Italian, Dutch, German, Spanish and English.
 
The multilingual coverage is in partnership with respected sports broadcasters from around the world.
 
Former Matildas goalkeeper Melissa Barbieri will bring all the highlights, insights and behind the scenes buzz of the Matildas’ matches, exclusively from France during the group stage, while the live English match coverage will feature exclusive commentary by former Socceroo goalkeeper Clint Bolton and sports broadcaster Steve Pearce.
 
Radio coverage is via the SBS Radio app and nationwide on SBS Radio 3, on digital television, digital radio (DAB+), analogue radio and online.

Overall SBS coverage will be hosted by esteemed sports journalist, Tracey Holmes and former Socceroo Captain, Craig Foster and with exclusive analysis from ex Matilda Joey Peters and commentary from David Basheer and former Matilda Sarah Walsh.
