SCA claims two AMY Awards

Southern Cross Austereo’s Radioapp and Virgin R U Ok Day campaigns were acknowledged as the best in their respective categories at the recent AMY Awards in Sydney last Friday.

The 22nd AMY Awards, presented by AIMIA, are the longest running and most prestigious Awards in Australia’s digital industry.

SCA took out The Best Digital Advertising or Communication award for Virgin R U OK? Day; Raising awareness of mental health through a national digital and social content campaign

The company also took out Best use of Smartphone or Tablet Device category for Radio app, which was developed to recreate the simplicity of listening to radio in order to keep the medium relevant for smartphone users.

Director of Digital Sales & Operations Steve Brown said: “The AMY Awards are a showcase of Australia’s best digital content and we were very proud to not only be nominated but come away with two awards!
