Goggin says, “We are so excited to have someone of Ian’s calibre and track record join our Original Podcasts team as we develop our slate for 2022. Ian’s experience not only working with podcasts but in award-winning writing, directing, and producing will be incredibly valuable as we continue to launch new and original Australian storytelling for both Australian and international audiences.”
Walker says, “It’s a super exciting time to be joining LiSTNR where the energy and drive amongst the team is palpable and the vision and opportunities are clear. We’re set on making a big splash in two of the most exciting podcast genres, serialised documentary, and audio fiction. The mission is to excite audiences and connect new listeners to the brand.
“I’m looking forward to bringing my track record, storytelling experience and network of outstanding content makers to help make LiSTNR the new market leader in quality audio storytelling.”
SCA also announced today that it has entered into a multi-year agreement with Salesforce, a global leader in CRM, that will enable SCA and LiSTNR to establish a single customer view of its audiences.
The customer data and behavioural insights in one CDP (Customer Data Platform) will deliver personalisation at scale for both SCA and its brands and the capability being leveraged with Salesforce CDP will unlock the ability to serve the best content and the best advertising solutions to SCA’s audiences, whilst ensuring the customer experience is personalised and relevant.

Complementing our investment in AI companies Sourse AI, Sonnant, NumberEight and Frequency, Salesforce, and its suite of products, including Interaction Studio, will ensure our technology ‘backbone’ is the most advanced in our category.
“New automated, powerful customer journeys that will improve our onboarding, conversion and engagement rates across all channels and devices is just one benefit we are excited to deliver to our content, sales and marketing teams.”
Chief Sales Officer, Brian Gallagher, says, “Unlocking the LiSTNR Audience Network at scale with a true, single customer view will change the way we do business at SCA. Partnering with our clients to ensure we deliver solutions that will guarantee growth for them is now even more possible.
“We know our clients rely on audio all the way through the marketing funnel for both mass and highly targeted and attributable solutions, and this capability will ensure each user receives the content they love with real time segmentation across our audio channels. We are looking forward to working with our clients to deliver deeply informed and even more effective solutions.”
