Three weeks ago we reported that SCA had entered into discussions WIN Corporation for the sale by SCA of its northern NSW (NNSW) television assets and operations to WIN and the acquisition of WIN’s i98FM Wollongong radio station.

Now that deal has been scuttled with SCA informing the stock exchange that it has “withdrawn from discussions” 

Apart from bringing i98 into the Southern Cross Austereo radio network, if the proposed deal had gone through would have involved a major re-alignment of Television assets and content affliation.
