SCA’s Bunbury premises evacuated due to fire

Yesterday, Monday October 28 at just after 3pm, a fire broke out at the building that houses Bunbury’s Triple M 963 and Hit 95.7 stations in Western Australia.

According to the Bunbury Herald the fire began in an alleyway between the station building and a neighbouring lawyers office. All buildings were evacuated.

Carly Portch, on Hit Southwest Breakfast with Allan Aldworth said in their listener group chat that everyone was safe and okay.

Stephen Haddad, SCA’s Chief Operating Officer said:

“Whilst yesterday’s events were a shock, we are grateful that all our staff are safe and OK. Fortunately, we have been able to pivot and will keep bringing our listeners the best of local content from both our Triple M and Hit stations. As we continue to serve the local community, listeners, and our advertising partners, we look forward to being back in the studios soon.”

Allan and Carly were back on air this morning.
