On the final day of his whirlwind visit to WA, a relaxed Prime Minister joined 98five’s mornings show host Mike Crichton on the phone to express his appreciation for Aussie songstress Tina Arena, a mutual enthusiasm the PM shares with his wife Jenny.
 
Mr Morrison’s knowledge of the iconic singer stretched further as he was able to list the history and musical trivia about one of his favourite songs Sorrento Moon.
 
Mike also asked about how he balances family and work in his new position, ScoMo shared that it’s simple, not always easy but simple; “…honour the commitments you make to your family. If you promise your kids something, fulfill it. If you promise your wife something, fulfill it.”
 
On his hopes for Australia and his goals in his new position, the PM says “I’ve always believed it was the government’s job to enable Australians to achieve their visions and their dreams,”
